CEO Successor: Greg Abel The current Vice Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway’s non-insurance operations, Greg Abel, has been instrumental in overseeing investments in energy, railroads, and other industrial enterprises. He is known for his expertise in capital allocation and long-term business management.
Investment Management Team: Todd Combs and Ted Weschler Both currently manage approximately 10% of Berkshire’s investment portfolio (including holdings in Apple and Chevron). They will jointly oversee future stock investments.
